Managing Director Stuart Swaddling was commended for his extensive commitment and excellence in the nursery industry when he was awarded the prestigious 'Life Membership' in the Nursery and Garden Industry  NSW & ACT in 2006.
	Managing Director Stuart Swaddling was Presented with the Award of Merit from the Nursery & Garden Industry of NSW in 2002 for his long standing work and achievement in the Nursery Industry.
	The Unilever Australasia Award for Excellence in Environmental Management was awarded in 2002 by the Hills Excellence in Business. The award recognises Tropical Plant Rentals and its franchises for their commitment to the environment.

Environmental Policy
Tropical Plant Rentals recognises its duty of care to its clients, stakeholders,  employees, contractors and the local community to sustain and protect the environment in the course of business and to ensure that these environmental obligations are given equal importance to those relating to commercial performance and social responsibility.

Carbon Foot Print
Tropical Plant Rentals is proactive in reducing its carbon footprint.  We are minimising the service kilometres travelled by our vehicles, solar heating our Sydney office complex, have a firm recycling policy in place – paper, plastic pots,  extensive use of 2nd hand materials for office glasshouse and shed construction  repairs and maintenance.  We have a firm policy in place and we are embarking on a treeplanting  program in a revegetation area ( yet to be selected ) with a target planting of 2000 trees.
